Ran to walgreens and finally got the glade warmers. They are $3/3 for the month of August. And I used a $2/3 printable coupon. Paid $1 and got back $1 thanks to my ibotta.
Ran to food lion to grab a few freebies thanks to the in store coupons. Got 18 eggs for free, a bag of dole salad and we needed a small tub of sour cream for dinner. Paid oop $.85.
Those were our small hauls for yesterday. Nothing fancy yet this week.
Remember Super Doubles has been confirmed and starts at Harris Teeter Wednesday morning. I am going to try and post a list of deals but I can't promise anything at this point.
Hope everyone has a good week and finds a lot of sales.
Also I haven't mentioned this in the last week but there is some rebate programs currently going on with all the back to school deals.
One is you spend $25 worth of participating products and get a $10 visa gift card in the mail.
Located here:
$10 rebate visa card
And there is also another one here for certain items to receive a coupon booklet.

So check those out and see if you can get even more savings in your pocket.
As always, Happy Couponing.

CVS and Foodlion trips for today
Let's start with CVS. Being it is the end of the week sadly they were completely out of sparkle paper towels and I had planned on getting 2 of them but it all worked out..Here's how!
I checked my email this morning to have a $3 off of $15 purchase for CVS.
So I did 2 transactions at CVS, and here is the breakdown.
1st transaction:
4 packs of angel soft t.p.
used- $1/2 angel soft printable(only expected to get 2 and didn't print another one just incase)
And the $3 off of $15 from email
Total came to: $17.19
Savings was 17.56
And got back $5 in rewards
2nd transaction:
A reese's candy bar
2 boxes of kellogg's frosted flakes
2 beef jerky sticks (mike tagged along of course)
1 arizona drink (again mike. lol)
Used- $.74/1 candy bar coupon from the red machine
$1/2 kellogg's frosted flakes printable
And the $5 in rewards from previous transaction
Spent $1.48 and saved $13.94 for this transaction.
All together I spent only $18.67 and saved $31.50
That was a great CVS haul!
At food lion we did just as good.
I have mentioned in the past how I use the mycokerewards program since my dad loves his soda and we love our powerades. Well I requested a free powerade coupon, a free mango powerade coupon and a $3 off of a 12 pack coke product.
So today we got:
1-orange powerade
1-mango powerade
1-12 pack coke
1 thing of sliced cheese for $.99
1 thing of bologna for $.99
And some chicken thighs that were marked down for $5.94
Total for Food Lion was: $10.54 and we saved: $7.08
All together we did great today. I was able to buy a few simple things we needed for the house and some stuff for the stockpile. And even made Mike happy with his few goodies.
We also shared a coupon with a little girl at food lion who was getting capri suns. It made her day and ours.
As always happy couponing and I hope this breakdown shows you that couponing can be done without going extreme and breaking your piggy bank.
****NOTE*** We also received some more GREAT Catalina's from the foodlion today. We got a free bag of salad, and a BOGO coupon for Kraft dressing. Just last week we got Catalina's for BOGO Apples, free eggs, and free hotdog or hamburger buns. These Catalina's are being given out at the register till October.

Another walgreens haul today
Bought the 1 Kool Aid, got $3 in rewards. Paid $3 + tax
2nd Transaction included 1 gallon of milk (because we were out), and 2 boxes of capri suns.
Used $6 in rewards. $3 was from the other days run. And came out spending $2.35
Plus we got 1000 points from the Capri Sun drinks.
A pretty good haul overall.
I am mapping out a CVS haul to try for more paper towels and toilet paper as well as cereal. Will let you guys know if it happens or not.
As always keep couponing.

small wags haul 8-4-14
Sorry I don't have a pic to go with this one and since we had a rough morning I was not thinking clearly, however it still was an okay haul.
We did 2 transactions.
1st transaction:
2- Purex detergents
1-Kool aid drink mixer
*no coupons used during this transaction*
Received: $1 rewards for purex, and $3 rewards from Kool Aid
2nd transaction:
1-box of lucky charms cereal
1-Angel soft 9 pack toilet paper
used the angel soft store coupon for $.50, used the $.55 printable coupon off of angel soft (found on their facebook website), and I used a $1 back rewards coupon from the purex deal.
Wasn't thinking to use the higher coupon for $3 rewards from the kool aid mixer
Total oop for these trips today was: $14.19
Savings for both: $11.07
And we still have $3 in rewards for our next trip.
Not a great haul but I am planning out another one for this week as we speak and hopefully I can do it and post it for you guys.
Happy Couponing
NOTES: There is a $1/2 purex coupon out right now, and a $.45/1 manufacture coupon for the angel soft if you have those to use.
