Small trip to walmart

This week I didn't do many coupon trips, me and Mike did however venture out yesterday and do a small one at Walmart.

Here is what we got:

5 bags of Bird's Eye Reciepe Ready bags
3 Welch's refrigerated fruit cocktail juices
3 Tena products

Here were the coupons we used:
4- $.75/1 bird's eye reciepe ready coupon
1- $1.00/1 bird's eye reciepe ready coupon
3- $.75/1 Welch's refrigerated fruit juice coupons
3- $5/1 any Tena products

All the Tena products were FREE and we came out with only paying $10.69 for those products.

Saving: $21.16

Not a big haul or a huge savings but so far we are loving the frozen sides and the juices are already gone. And the Tena products will be added to the donate pile.

Now this list I am sure varies for everyone, but I know that I always come out with at least one of each of these items when I attend so this is my list. Hope it gives you some sort of idea.

NOTE: AS OF RIGHT NOW NO WORD HAS BEEN SAID WHEN THE NEXT EVENT IS, THAT IS WHY IT IS ALWAYS GOOD TO BE PREPARED.

Last night's dinner

I normally don't write about things like this but it was something different for me and my family and contained some of my freebies I had in my stockpile.

Last night I made chicken breast in the crock pot with Campbell's slow cooker sauce. It was the Moroccan spice with green olives and lemon. It suggested on the back to use it in a wrap so we did after I tasted the sauce. Then of course I had to wonder if something else should go with it so rice seemed perfected. I had some Mahatma yellow rice still in the stock room, so I added that to the mix.

All together I had free sauce, free rice and the lettuce I scored the other night from Food lion was used as well. I couldn't complain. It was an easy meal. I let it cook in the crock pot on low all day and all I had to do was make the rice when we were ready. Simple and tasted DELICIOUS. And since I had so much chicken leftover, we are having leftovers for dinner. (I cooked a lot of chicken because I wasn't sure what we were doing with it at first. lol) Glad I  read the sauce bag for the suggestion though.

Foodlion deal

I made it today to the can good deal on beans. This was my first transaction of a few.

I got 38 cans of beans, gallon of milk, 1 dozen eggs and a loaf of bread. Spent a total of $27.39 and saved $6.74 mvp and got back a $10 Catalina toward my next transaction.

My cans included regular cut and french style green beans, corn, pinto beans, northern style beans, light and dark kidney beans, chili beans, and peas. All of the can goods don't expire till 2016 but I am sure they will be gone before that with the way I cook.

*I redid this post because the way it was worded originally was way to confusing*
